In previous years we had labored over how 3d intensive our Player designs should be for the finals, and often we found ourselves in a rendering bind. I came up with the 2D based ‘companion’ look to alleviate some of that workload. The point was to find things we could animate in after effects to avoid 3d renders and V-Ray altogether. We had some sweet design from Jeremy Simches based upon our previous years eco-system efforts, and Richard Harrington brought the animation to life. Motion samples to come soon.
